One path on a long journey.
Live A Live is a very different kind of RPG from the past. In fact, it’s a title many have never heard of because of how it came out on the Super Famicom in Japan about two decades ago. But now, thanks to the new style of HD-2D, among other things of course, the game is finally getting its due for a new generation of gamers. Just as important, a new trailer has released today that showcases one of the character paths!
The character trailer is that of “The Earthen Heart Shifu”, a martial arts master who knows that his time is not long in life. Thus, he must seek out a person to carry on his style of Kung Fu, all the while, defeating evil within his homeland of Imperial China.

The game will not only have you training your disciples, but then choosing which one is worthy in your mind to carry on your legacy. It’s a very different kind of RPG storyline, yet it’s one that will be special as you play the other paths within the game.
Half the fun of Live A Live is to see all that the paths have to offer, and see which storylines you like the best, and so you can expect more character stories to come forth in due time. The game itself meanwhile will release on June 22nd on the Nintendo Switch.

” Seven different stories featuring different protagonists, time periods, and gameplay styles await. In The Wild West, a wanderer with a bounty on his head fights for his life. In the Twilight of Edo Japan, a shinobi undertakes a secret mission. Experience these tales in any order you choose—the adventure is yours to control. What other stories will you uncover on the horizon…?”
